Nomal () is a village in Gilgit District, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan It is 25 km away from Gilgit main city and 297 km North of Islamabad.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Nomal Map | Pakistan Google Satellite Maps )〕 The valley is about forty minutes drive from Gilgit the capital of Gilgit Baltistan Nomal valley has been divided into Mohallahs or sectors by the previous local rulers(Rahs/Rajas in local language). The mohallahs are as Sigal , Majini , Jigot, Batot, Kamal Abad, Ishphis, Momin Abad, Das and Khaltarot. Shina language is mostly spoken by the people of village Nomal except in Das, Ishphis and Kamal Abad where majority of the population speaks Brushaski. Hunza Nagar river and Nalter river flow thorough this valley but that is Nalter river, which supplies water to whole Nomal valley. Nalter river finally merges with the Hunza Nagar river. This valley is famous for its Cherry fruits and Vegetables. Among the vegetables, potato is an important cash crop for the farmers of this valley. This valley is interconnected via mettalled road with Hunza and Nagar valleys. This valley is also connected via road with Nalter Bala and Nalter Pain. Villages such as Jutal and Matum Das on either side of the valley are connected via RCC bridge constructed by Chinese engineers. All of the inhabitants of Nomal valley are followers of Islam. ==See Also== Gilgit District
